Uni...Uni...Uni... Part 2
Ok people so I went for my interview for UCA (University of the
Creative Arts) 2weeks ago which was in Farnham n omg the scenery is just amazing it was really beautiful, so I called up the uni prior to going there because I forgot the interview time (silly Billy) and the woman was giving me direction to the uni the conversation basically went like "ok when you get off the train go straight then turn left carry on you should see a Sainsbury’s n all dis rubbish yea, I swr to god I came off the train and it was like a scene from emmerdale nooooo lie blood.
I was walking for bare looong n I left skool with 2 hours to spare baring in mind, time was ticking n I was MUDDA FUKKIN LOST at this stage. So I went up to a local person might have been a tramp I’m not quite sure, so I asked him if he knew where the university was he said he did so I was felling a little better until this came out his mouth " go straight then turn left then right then left and right again go straight then you go over a bridge then go left then right" at this point I just zoned out!!!!!!!! Then he was like if you forget just go to the shop across the road and he'll give you more directions I was just like ok buy.
So I went in to the shop and the kind man drew me a very fool proof map of how to get to the uni, so I followed the map but again getting lost so I had to ask this local man how to get there at this point I had like 20 to get there so I wasn’t happy, so the man took me most of the way and directed me to the uni which wasn’t a far walk, when I got there I was sweating like a donkeys ass boi not nice lol, so I had to sign and wait for the course addmistrater to come and collect us there were 2groups Video effects or something like that and the Computer Designers like myself so we dropped our portfolio off in a interview room and we got a tour of the facilities these included GREEN AND BLACK SCREEN ROOMS, SOUND BOOF to record voices or certain sounds, there 3 story library which on the second floor had one side covered in MAC's and the other side covered in PC's and from what I saw I the 3rd flood was for the videos and sound tracks I’m guessing.
Then we went to the cafe where we all sat down. It was now time for the ONE on ONE interviews :S, the man asked who would like to go first and I don’t know what made me say it but I volunteered, so I got my portfolio out and showed my all my work and we were talking about the course and about artist that would have been relevant in my work ect BUT I GOT A YES ON THE SPOT. BANG!!! SUCK ON THAT BITCHES.
I WAS SOOOO OVER THE MOON THAT I GOT A YES I TRUELY DIDNT EXPECT THAT BUT I AM SOOOO HAPPY :)
